We bid farewell to Anna Thorn.
A true friend and beacon of light, who departed from this world at the age of 80 on May 1, 2025 at Caromont Hospital in Gastonia North Carolina, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Ann walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with love and acceptance. If there ever was an angel that walked on the face of this earth, Ann was one.
Ann was preceded in death by her Father, Edward Clifford Thorn Sr, Mother, Mary S. Thorn, sister, Joy Wilson, brothers, Eugene Thorn and Edward C. Thorn Jr.
Ann is lovingly remembered by Janet and Steve Shonkwiler who were life long friends of hers.
Ann will be laid to rest beside her cherished friend, Edith Crawford, at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt Holly North Carolina.
