A devoted member of Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church, Corky was a man of unwavering faith. He graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School in 1969 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1973 from Belmont Abbey College. He dedicated 32 years of his life to Ford Motor Company before retiring.

Corky was a man of quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. He lived his life in service to others, always putting family first. His siblings fondly recall him as kind, gentle, and generous—the male version of their beloved mother. As the eldest of seven, he was a role model and guiding hand to his younger siblings, always ready with love and support.

He was a loving husband, a dedicated father, and a doting grandfather who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was enjoying a round of golf, indulging in his favorite peanuts, cheering for his teams at live sports events, or soaking up the sun at the beach, he embraced every moment with gratitude. Above all, he cherished his family, finding true happiness in their love and laughter. His love for Christmas was legendary, his booming, “HO, HO, HO, Merry Christmas!” filling his home with warmth and joy each year.

Corky’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched. His kindness, humor, and generosity will never be forgotten. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
