Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Ardrey Earl Greene, 77, passed away on Sunday, November 5th at his home.
Mr. Greene was born in Rock Hill, SC, and was the son of the late Jack Greene and the late Joyce Stewert Greene. In addition to his parents, Mr. Greene was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Kessinger. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He was owner and operator of Greene Floor Covering. In his retirement Mr. Greene loved to work in the yard, gardening, and grow tomatoes. He also loved to watch his grandchildren play their sport. He was a avid University of South Carolina Game Cock fan.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road with the Reverend John Nowaczewski officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Greene is survived by his wife of 53 years, spouse, Perry Ann Hope Greene; his son, Jackson (Crystal) Greene of Rock Hill, SC; his daughter, Maggie (Paul) Rehkow of Rock Hill, SC; his brother, Danny Greene of Rock Hill, SC; his sister, Jackie Money of Rock Hill, SC; and his grandchildren, Emily Greene, Leah Greene, Ben Rehkow, and Caroline Rehkow.
