Rock Hill, SC – Arthur Ernest Courtemanche, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center.
The service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Holly Hinson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will take place at a later date.
Born in Cambridge, MA, Mr. Courtemanche was the son of the late Roland Courtemanche and the late Veronica Latouche Courtemanche. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Courtemanche. He served in the United States Air Force with 20 years of service, including 5 years as a recruiter, and was discharged as a Master Sergeant. He was involved in the American Legion, served in the Vietnam War, and enjoyed all military stories. Mr. Courtemanche had a deep love for his wife, Linda and his dog, Murphy. He also enjoyed camping and traveling.
Surviving are his spouse, Linda Jennings Leopard; one daughter, Jennifer Courtemanche of North Charleston, SC; one son, Benjamin Courtemanche of North Charleston, SC; two stepdaughters, Gina Leopard and Karen (Mike) Rescigno, both of Rock Hill, SC, and one stepson, Bobby Joe (Shannon) Leopard Jr. of York, SC; three brothers, John Courtemanche, Mike Courtemanche, and Roland Courtemanche; five sisters, Mary Ann Collins, Susan Rubashkin, Judy Leveille, Teresa Mahan, and Robin Golosh; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
