ROCK HILL – Bailey Austin Wayne Griffin, 27, passed away on June 15, 2025. He was born on January 26, 1998, to Sue N. Whitmore and the late Rickey Wayne Griffin.
He is survived by his life partner, Caroline; stepson, Kymani; mother, Sue N. Whitmore (William); brother, Rickey Wayne Griffin Jr. (Chrissy); sisters, Mckayla Christine Grobusky (Joseph) and Gabrie Griffin; stepbrothers, Trey, Kris, Kendal, and Bransone; niece, Ryleigh; and nephew, Rowan. He was preceded in death by his father, Rickey Wayne Griffin; stepsister, Tiernee.
Also surviving are his grandparents, Linda Norton (Alvin) and Linda Wright; aunt, Wendy Stogner (Carlton); uncle, Willie Dale Norton; cousin, Brandy Faile (Jake); and his pets, Bandit, Sadie, and Cowboy.
Bailey was known for his drive, generosity, and protective nature. He worked hard for what he had, expressed love through acts of service, and took pride in reaching his goals. He loved his dogs, Bandit and Sadie, and never missed a chance to flex in a mirror.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 20 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mt. Gallant Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732. Visitation will follow the service at the church.
