Rock Hill, SC – Barbara Ann Deese, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Brookdale Senior Living in Rock Hill, SC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Evergreen Burial Park, 11501 Bain School Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
Born in Mint Hill, NC, Barbara was the daughter of the late Clyde Edward Deese and the late Mary Hooks Deese. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Avery Edward Deese. Barbara took great pride in caring for her family, most notably dedicated to the care of her parents. She was retired from Exxon. Barbara was a skilled ballroom dancer. She also enjoyed traveling in her younger years. She was a member of Matthews United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her niece, Sharon (Devin) Henderson; her great-nephew, Travis Harris; and her sister-in-law, Linda Deese.
