Mrs. Bertie Parker Williams, 94, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Bertie was born in Piedmont, SC, and was the daughter of the late Dee M Parker and the late Minnie Cope Parker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, D. Fennell Williams, son, Stanley K Williams, grandson, Matthew D Williams, and six brothers and five sisters. She was a member of Neely’s Creek ARP Church and a past member of Crescent Shrine Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Neely’s Creek ARP Cemetery with Rev. Matt Joldersma officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
Bertie is survived by her son Larry W (Janice) Williams of Rock Hill, SC; her granddaughter, April Elizabeth Williams (Brian) Burke and her great-grandson, Owen Burke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bertie’s name to Neely’s Creek ARP Church, 974 Neely’s Creek Rd, Rock Hill, SC, 29730.
