Betty Ann Conner was born on November 28, 1943, to the late Billy William Gregory and Maude Estelle Kennedy Gregory in Chester, SC. During her work life, Betty worked for Celanese Textile in Rock Hill and retired after 20 years of experience. In her free time, she thoroughly enjoyed crocheting, watching her favorite TV shows, fishing, and especially loving on her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Luther “Sonny” Conner, III (Angie), Beverly Nicole Dosier (Douglas), and James Rodney Conner (Trina); her brother, Billy Gregory; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Conner was preceded by her husband, Luther “Sonny” Conner, Jr; her late parents, Billy and Maulde Gregory and step-mother, Alice Gregory; her brothers, Wayne Gregory and Jimmy Gregory; and her granddaughter, Sunny Nicole Conner.
A visitation will be held for Mrs. Betty Ann Conner from 6:00 to 7:30PM on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730. A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, with burial following at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
