Rock Hill, SC – Betty Jo Wolfe, 77, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Mrs. Wolfe was born on July 27, 1945, to the late Owen Ruben Van Pelt and the late Clara Louise Baker Van Pelt in Concord, California. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her siblings, Jerry Van Pelt, Donna Mae Van Pelt, Dean Van Pelt, Donald Van Pelt, and Darrell Van Pelt. Betty Jo married her husband, Luther Nathaniel Wolfe in 1962 and were married for 54 years, before his passing in 2016. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting and bowling.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Wolfe (Hope) of Lake Wylie; her brother, Johnny Van Pelt of California; and numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Wolfe at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina, 29732. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
