It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Beverly Hill, née Burrows, who departed this world and entered her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 13, 2026. Beverly was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who graced this world with her presence for 83 beautiful years.
Born on November 11, 1942, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Beverly was the cherished daughter of Thomas and Ruth Burrows. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, her dear brother Thomas Junior, and her beloved daughter Holly Hill, each of whom she held close to her heart.
Beverly’s life was enriched by a profound and enduring love story. On April 7, 1962, she married her high school sweetheart, Hugh Hill. Together, they embarked on a remarkable journey of 64 years, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Their love was a beacon of inspiration for all who knew them.
Beverly was the proud and devoted mother of three children: Todd Hill and his wife, Cia; Tory Hill and his wife, Donna; and Tiffany Rowe, alongside her husband, Patrick. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Jourdan and Emily Hill, who brought boundless joy to her life.
A proud graduate of Fenton High School’s class of 1960, Beverly’s dedication and determination shone brightly throughout her career at the corporate headquarters of Awana Clubs International, where she worked tirelessly until her retirement in 2014. Her colleagues remember her as a detail-oriented and diligent individual who always led with grace and kindness.
Beverly’s life was marked by her deep faith and active participation in the community at First Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. Her spiritual journey was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her beliefs and her love for her church family.
A woman of many talents and interests, Beverly found solace and joy in planting flowers, doing puzzles, and crafting immaculate lists that kept her loved ones organized and on track. Her home, beautifully adorned with family photographs, was a haven of warmth and hospitality. She took great pleasure in hosting gatherings that were reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell painting, where each moment was cherished and every detail tended to with love.
Above all, Beverly’s greatest joy was her family. She was the heart and soul of her family, always ready to drop everything to talk to her children and grandchildren. She relished each visit from her loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
A service celebrating Beverly’s extraordinary life will be held on June 27, 2026 at First Baptist Church located at 481 Hood Center Drive, Rock Hill, SC. A visitation will be held at 10:30 and the service will be held at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Beverly’s memory to First Baptist Church, Rock Hill SC, where her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift others.
Beverly’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and a life well-lived. She touched the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her, and she will be remembered with deep affection and admiration.
