Beverly Ann Tate, 75, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away on July 17, 2026. She was born on December 6, 1950.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Dan Tate, their sons, Allan Tate and his wife, Elizabeth, and Michael Tate, as well as the family’s beloved dog, Jasmine.
Beverly spent her childhood in Arkansas, where many members of her extended family continue to live. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Grace Gibbons, and is survived by her brothers, Glen Gibbons and his wife, Gayla, and Jerry Gibbons and his wife, Terry.
Affectionately known as “Aunt B,” Beverly held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Her much-anticipated visits were filled with card games, board games, laughter, and cherished time together. Beverly also shared her remarkable gifts for baking and cooking, creating meals and treats that became treasured parts of family gatherings. She enjoyed crafting and developed a special talent for gift wrapping, which she used to bring joy to others. The thought she put into every gift reflected the way she lived, always putting others first, and guided by her faith in Christ’s promise for restoration and hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Beverly’s warmth and care extended far beyond her immediate family. Through her connection with Westminster Catawba Christian School, she touched the lives of many children and families and formed friendships that endured throughout her life. Her memory will remain a blessing to her loving family, her many friends and neighbors, and all those fortunate enough to have experienced her love.
