Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Bobbie Jean Cartwright, 82, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill with Reverend Bill Large officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC. Visitation with family and friends will be from 11:30 am till 12:45 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born in Naoma, WV, Mr. Cartwright was the son of the late Arthur James Cartright and the late Fannie Davis Cartright. He was also preceded in death by his four brothers, Tommie, Arthur, Leroy and Kenny.
Mr. Cartwright is survived by his wife, Verla Mae James Cartwright; son, Carmen (RuthAnn) Cartwright of Little Mountain, SC; daughter, Cynthia (Greg) Hill of Richburg, SC; sister, Jeanette Allen of York, SC; two grandsons, Zach Hill, Karson (Brittany) Hill; three granddaughters, Erika (Farand) Wasiak, Emily Elizabeth Cartwright, and Olivia Catherine (Russell) Smigelski.
