Roland Paul Brault, best known as “Buddy,” went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on November 15, 2025.
Buddy was born on April 1, 1956, to Gloria and Charles Brault in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Raised a Florida boy with his four siblings, Buddy loved being near the water. He was a hard worker dedicating over 40 years of service to Mecklenburg County Building Standards and Superior Mechanical Systems. But, he always prioritized making special memories with his family and using his skills to leave his legacy in the homes and hearts of so many. If he wasn’t fixing something for someone or working on a house project with Debbie, he was planning his next fishing and crabbing adventure with his family. He is already missed so much.
Buddy’s journey on this earth ended peacefully surrounded by his family and in the arms of his wife. He is preceded in death by his brother George and says “see you again” to his beloved wife of 39 years Debbie, son Billy, daughters Kristy and Cassie, son-in-laws Jon and Jonathan, daughter-in-law Mary, brothers Chuck and Roger, and sister Nancy, as well as four grandchildren whom he adored: Jackson, Emma, Elizabeth, and Bennett. He would have wanted you to know that Jesus and His Word were an ever present help in his times of suffering and adversity. A ten-year battle with cancer might have prompted his final lap, but Jesus has the victory.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Appendix Cancer and Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) Research Foundation or First ARP Church of Rock Hill in Buddy’s honor.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 3pm at First ARP Church of Rock Hill, 201 E. White Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
