Born in Victoria, TX, on September 11, 1935, Carolyn was the daughter of the late William (Bill) Tasin and the late Adeline Goldsum Tasin. Carolyn grew up in Victoria and graduated from the Nazareth Academy Catholic School and from Victoria Junior College.
Carolyn met her husband John Kenneth Rampmeier while working for Union Carbide in Seadrift, TX. Married in 1964, they were together until Ken’s death in 2011. Carolyn loved traveling to visit her friends and family across the United States and in Europe. Carolyn was a dedicated friend who kept in close contact with her family and many friends sending frequent letters and postcards. A member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in High Point, North Carolina, Carolyn enjoyed volunteering in the church.
Carolyn is survived by her loving children, her son, Keith Rampmeier; daughter, Cara Rampmeier Dudley; Cara’s husband, David; along with her four grandchildren, Christopher, Victoria, Kathryn, and Matthew.
