Rock Hill, SC – Chalmers P. Rainer, 63, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Chalmers Paul Rainer was born on May 26, 1960, to the late Chalmers Woodrow Rainer and Thelma Lyle McCormick Rainer, in York County, SC. “Paul” as he was known commonly, had two major loves in his life. In his early life, he found his first love in cars. During this era, he spent much of his free time enjoying cars and enjoying his beloved pastime, bowling. Later in life, he found his other love in music. Paul had a gift and love for writing his own songs. He enjoyed the creative process of making music and listening to various musical artists. In his work life, he worked for Comporium in computer technology for the past 15 years.
He is survived by his nephews, Ronnie Rawdon (Barbara) and Steven Dean Rawdon.
Mr. Rainer was preceded in death by his parents, Chalmers and Thelma Rainer; his brother, Danny Rainer; his sister, Barbara Rainer Broome; and his niece, Belinda Denise Rawdon.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Rainer at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
