Rock Hill, SC – Charles R. Goodson (Randy), 87, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Randy was the son of the late Spurgeon Goodson and the late Marion Goodson. Randy served in the Armed Forces, worked for A&P grocery, and worked for George Hearn and Clinton Family Ford.
Mr. Goodson is survived by his wife, Ruth Goodson; his son, Mark Goodson and wife Jean Goodson of Rock Hill; two wonderful grandchildren, Michael Goodson of Lancaster, SC and Steven Goodson of San Jose, Costa Rica; his brother, Jerry Goodson of Rock Hill; and his sisters, Nancy Hill and husband, Dan, of Jacksonville, FL and Lynn Johnson and husband, Jonathon, of Rock Hill.
He will be laid to rest in a private burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
