Mrs. Connie Deese Clinton, 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Eastside Baptist Church, 318 North Jones Avenue, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will be in Laurelwood Cemetery following the service. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at her home, 1949 Eden Terrace, Rock Hill.
Born in Lancaster, SC, Mrs. Clinton was the daughter of the late Lonnie Deese and the late Mary Gainer Deese. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, B. Folsom Clinton, her brother, Soulee Deese, her sister, Gladys D DeBrul. She was a Charter Member of Eastside Baptist Church, Rock Hill.
Mrs. Clinton is survived by her son, Tim (Lynn) Clinton of Rock Hill; her daughter, Pam C (Brad) Watts of Rock Hill; her sister, Ruth D Hinson of Rock Hill; two grandsons, Cody (Jamie) Watts and Chase Watts (Jinny Knight, fiancé) both of Rock Hill; her granddaughter, Hannah Clinton of Rock Hill; two great-grandsons, Jax and Asher; many nephews and nieces.
The family wishes to thank her four Angels, Glenda Fields, Sherrie Wright, Janet Stowers and Bonte Hunsucker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Clinton’s name to Eastside Baptist Church 318 N. Jones Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
