Conway, SC – Constance Veronica Harris Hooks, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Conway Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Tom Trimnal officiating. Burial will be in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Cemetery, Catawba Nation Reservation. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am till 10:50 am at the funeral home.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. Hooks was the daughter of the late David Adam Harris and the late Sara Bryson Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Hooks. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) most of her life and had a passion for working at Waffle House for over 20-plus years. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catawba Ward.
Mrs. Hooks is survived by her three sons, Brian (Candi) Harris of Bayminette, AL, Charles Oswald of Lexington, SC, Anthony Oswald of Lexington, SC; her daughter, Michelle (Jay) Moccaldi of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandsons, Brian, Brandon, Dustin, Michael, Chris; seven granddaughters, Courtney, Brooklyn, Brittney, Amber, Rosa, Sierra, Rachel, Avery; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kathy Ward of Rock Hill, Charlene Melech of Bayminette, AL, Linda Hitchcock of Buna, TX.
