Rock Hill, SC – David “Dave” E. Youmans, 73, passed away at his home on May 26, 2025. He was born on June 23, 1951, to the late Rev. Edwin and Ruby Youmans in Oconee County, SC.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 6:00PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 5:00PM.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Youmans; sons, Jamie (Kathy) Craig, Jason (Robyn) McFadden, Josh (Melissa) McFadden; daughter, Dawn (Rick) Raymond; brother, Jonathan Youmans (Diane); grandchildren, Drew (Christina) Craig, Brooklyn Craig, Courtney (Kayla) McFadden, Jacob McFadden, Dylan McFadden, Skylar McFadden, Payton McFadden, Liam McFadden, Alex Raymond, Emma Raymond; great-grandchildren, Braelynn, Braden, Weston, Karter, Maddison, and Cohen; his fur baby and best friend Fozzybear.
Dave worked at Duke Power for 48 years as an I&E Technician and also served for his country in the Army. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved spending time outdoors. His biggest hobby was reading. He loved riding his Harley. We loved traveling with our friends and family.
