Richburg, SC – David Lawrence Ayers, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.  David a native of Rock Hill, was the son of the late Billy and Myrtle Ayers. David was also proceeded in death by his brother William Ayers and sister Linda Sanders, mother-in-law Mary Beane (Lib), and his brother-in-law Richard Beane (Ricky).

A celebration of David’s life will take place on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 4pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. The funeral service will be held at 4pm and the family will receive family and friends following the service. The service will be live-streamed on www.greenefuneralhome.net

David lived most of his life in Rock Hill, SC, but David met Donna, the love of his life while walking down Harris Road in Fort Mill, SC. For 44 years they built a life together full of love and laughter. The were the epitome of what true love should look like. David is survived by his wife Donna Ayers (Beane), his two daughters, Amanda Ayers Mullinax and Magen Ayers Miller (Lance) both of Richburg.

He is also survived by six grandchildren, Cameron Robertson (Kylie), Kylie Miller, Madison Pontus, Jaylin Miller, Kale Miller, Braxton Mullinax, and one great grandchild, Levi Miller. He is also survived by his sister Debra K. Sanders of Rock Hill, SC and many nieces and nephews.

David was a dedicated husband and father. He loved his two daughters and grandchildren more than anything. He was so proud of them and always their biggest fan. He gave selflessly to not only his family but to others around him. He enjoyed laughing with his friends and family, playing poker or a game of pool. He enjoyed celebrating holidays and going big or going home!
