Rock Hill, SC – Deborah Boulware Pendergast, 73, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Deborah was born to the late AJ Boulware and Joyce “Peggy” Lee Boulware on August 17, 1951, in Rock Hill, SC. She attended Winthrop University and graduated in 1984, with a BS degree in Early Childhood Development and Psychology. Deborah worked as a social worker for the South Carolina Department of Social Services. Her keen wit, sense of humor and kindness will be missed by all.
Deborah is survived by her son, Jason Baron (Stephanie) of Fort Mill and daughter, Dina Hypio (Pete) of Rock Hill; her grandchildren: Justin, Emma, Kaleb, Elliot, and Will; her sister, Bianca Boulware Trice Holden of Anderson, SC along with a niece, and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 S. Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
