Rock Hill, SC – Delbert Dean Regier entered his eternal home on February 16, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 10:30 am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed at www.greenefuneralhome.net and will be accessible from the home page.
Delbert was born in Newton, KS to the late Gustav Regier and the late Hilda Wiebe Regier. He served the Lord for over 60 years, pastoring a variety of churches across the country before retiring. He then founded Caring for the Heart SC, counseling more than 750 families. His two personal goals were to make the gospel so plain that a child could understand and to find ways to show love in a meaningful way. His life verse was 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
Delbert is dearly loved by his wife, Viola, his children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.
