Rock Hill, SC – Denice Marie Arrington, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death.
All funeral arrangements will be private.
Denice was born December 26, 1960 to Evelyn Marie Arrington and the late Herdus Coffey Arrington, Jr. Denice was an avid reader, loved animals, and enjoyed traveling.
Denice is survived by her loving mother, Evelyn Marie Arrington; her siblings, Jenna Lee (Alex) Sithide of Maysville, GA, Debra Arrington Farr of Duncan, SC, Deanna Arrington Halajcsik of Ashville, NC and Herdus Coffey “Trey” (Jaime) Arrington III of Rock Hill. Her memory lives on with her nephews and nieces, Quay Benjamin (Kirsten) Farr IV, James Zachary Farr, Jeremy Travis Arrington, Joshua Tippins Arrington, Erin Marie (Blake) Wilson, Katherine LeeAnn Halajcsik, and Victoria Grace Halajcsik, who were her pride and joy. Denice’s favorite place to visit with them was Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Denice M. Arrington’s name to River Banks Zoo and Gardens, 400 Rivermont Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
