Donald Lee Waterfield, 74, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Mr. Waterfield was affectionately known by many names. “Don”, “Will”, “Grandon”, and “Baltimore” were how he was known by those closest to him. He was a free-spirited man who thoroughly enjoyed fishing and boating. Whether it was the Chesapeake Bay or the Catawba River, Mr. Waterfield simply enjoyed being out on the water. Family was extremely important to him. He treasured his time with his grandson, Alex, as well as the time he spent with his friends by the bonfire or the bar. During his work life, Mr. Waterfield worked as a journeyman welder. He lived in Dundalk, Maryland for much of his life, before moving with his family to Rock Hill. He will be dearly missed and remembered as a man who lived life on his own terms.
Mr. Waterfield is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Tony Miller; his grandson, Alex Miller; his daughter, LeeAnn Jones (Jake); his brother, Jess Waterfield (Carolyn); his sister-in-law, Carol Waterfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his late parents, Raymond Emanuel Waterfield and Nellie Gladys Redman Waterfield; and his brother, Ray Waterfield.
