Donna was born in Rock Hill S.C. on Feb. 13,1953 to her parents John (Sonny) and Frances Shehan. She lived her entire life in the Rock Hill area. She grew up under some very hard conditions, but her love for her family never ceased. Donna was predeceased by both parents, her sister Pam and husband Ron Doyle, and one great-grandson Ryder Hedgepath.

Donna is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Ronnie; her son Darrell (Stephanie) Outlaw, her twin daughters Kimberly Shay (Michael) Styles and Trina Kay (John) Whitaker. She was truly blessed with six grandchildren, Scottie (Matt) Vinson, Jessica Outlaw, Macie Brooke Outlaw, Chloe Lynne Styles, Joseph Mitchell and Emily Mitchell. She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren, Kaylee Grace Vinson, Natalie Rose Leuth, Autumn Jane Leuth, Jesse Vinson, Wyatt Vinson, Juliana Hedgepath, Oliva Rainbow Outlaw, and Mikey Stafford. She is also survived by her two brothers, Steve and Johnny Shehan and one sister, Barbara Bigham all from Rock Hill. Donna also leaves behind her caretakers, Sherylle Simpson and her sister Barbara who took great care and had Donna laughing most of her end time.

She worked for over twenty years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, serving one family for over twelve years. This type of work was her true calling and one she so loved and enjoyed doing. All other years she worked at being a great mother, grandmother and a devoted wife.

Donna was a member of Park Ridge Baptist Church, 5099 Trotter Ridge in Rock Hill where she attended until sickness took its toll on her. She read and studied her Bible daily and had a persistent prayer life. Up until her leaving this world she lifted her husband, her children, her grands and great grands up daily in prayers.

The passing of my wife and the mother of our children has brought us a tremendous amount of sadness that will be hard to express. Knowing and loving my wife and our mother, who was always kind, beautiful, generous and had a spirit everyone just loved, will never be replaced. My wife loved to laugh, especially at her older sister Barbara‘s jokes and all surrounding her would join in with her laughter.

The family extends her heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the attention and helpfulness that Donna received from Dr. Pam Sinclair, Dr. William Bobo, Dr. Randolph Villiamor and Dr. V. Patel. To all of the managers, staff, and nurses and patient attendants of Providence Care, our family extends their heartfelt thankfulness for all their efforts.
