Mr. Donald Clayton Moore, 61, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Atrium- Main.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Deacon Ray Moore officiating. The Celebration will continue at 5:00 pm with a tailgate at Moon and Becky’s home, 1350 Allison Circle, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Donnie was the son of Jackie Broome and the late Bobby Broome. He was employed with Arlington Construction. Donnie was a graduate of Northwestern High School and attended Lees-McRae College and Newberry College where he continued his love of playing basketball. He was an outgoing person who connected with everyone he met. He loved his family and his friends, who were like family, and maintained life-long friendships with many. He was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed music, especially Santana and the Rolling Stones. He enjoyed fishing and recently purchased a boat where he spent his spare time when he wasn’t with his family.
In addition to his mother, Jackie Broome, he is survived by his daughters, Brittany Bradshaw (Matt) of Rock Hill; Laurel McCall (Christopher) of Clover and his son, Wade Moore of Charleston, SC; his brother, Ray Moore (Paulette) of York; sister, Becky McClellan (David) of Rock Hill; five grandchildren, Isla Bradshaw, Georgia Bradshaw, Jack Bradshaw, Aspen McCall and Walker McCall; his nephews, Jake McClellan and Josh McClellan; and his dog, Deebo. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janay Broome.
