Rock Hill, SC – Earl R. Gatlin, 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church, 426 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730 with Reverend Gregg Hoffman officiating. A reception with family and friends will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
Born in Darlington, SC, Mr. Gatlin was the son of the late Keith Anderson Gatlin, Sr and the late Earlene Polmateer Gatlin. He was a retired attorney with 41 years of service. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Mr. Gatlin is survived by his wife, Paula Baker Gatlin; three daughters, Ashley G (David) Williams of Irmo, SC, Sarah G (H. Allen) Lowrance of Rock Hill, Anna (Jace Ewing) Gatlin of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandsons, Caleb Williams and Strobe Ewing; four granddaughters, Emma Lowrance, Mary Claire Lowrance, Olivia Lowrance, and Ava Williams; three brothers, Keith A (Lisa) Gatlin Jr. of Statesville, NC, Steve B (Faye) Gatlin of Rock Hill, SC and John C (LuAnne) Gatlin of Mooresville, NC; his sister, Emily G (Geoff) Nash of Alpharetta, GA.
