Eda Hansen Sziber 96, of Rock Hill, SC passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026,
surrounded by friends and family. Eda was born on November 23, 1929, in Milltown NJ
to Soren and Olga Hansen. She is survived by her children and stepchildren, as well as
numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sziber.
Eda loved to play cards and do the NYT’s crossword puzzle. She was a skilled cook
and baked elaborate treats for her friends and family. Eda was a master at needlework,
specifically quilting and knitting. She was very proud of her Danish heritage. A service
will be held at 10am August 28 at Parke Point Village in the 3rd floor Community Room.
A family remembrance will be held in NJ at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the charity of your choice.
