Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Elaine Morris Seay, 82, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Reverend Dr. Ron Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park-Cherry Road. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 6:00-7:30 pm at the funeral home.
A native of Rock Hill, SC, Mrs. Seay was the daughter of the late Delma A. Morris and Irma Parrish Morris. She retired from Georgia-Pacific. Following retirement, she worked at Piedmont Medical Center in the Accounting department for four years. Mrs. Seay was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and loved her church family dearly. She enjoyed working word puzzles and working in her yard. She was the widow of James D. Seay.
Mrs. Seay is survived by her son, Dennis M. Seay (Julie) of Rock Hill; her granddaughter, Zoie Seay; sister, Faye McLamb (Burce) of Matthews, NC; sister-in-law, Marie Morris; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Bailey, Kevin Bailey, Karen Langos, Don Honeycutt, Doug Morris, Tim Morris, Gary Morris, John McLamb, Kathy Budash, Sharon Kudel and Mark Dively. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Morris and sisters, Barbara Honeycutt and Marceile Dively.
