Rock Hill – Mrs. Ella Mae Robinson West, 98, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Carolina Gardens at Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, with Rev. James Locklair officiating.
Born in Statesville, NC, Mrs. West was the daughter of the late John Ed Robinson and the late Flonnie Reed Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William West, Sr.; five brothers; two sisters; and her son-in-law, Jimmy Collins. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and working with her flowers. She was of the Baptist faith and a very Godly woman.
Surviving are her son, William “Bill” (Enola) West Jr. of Fort Mill, SC; two daughters, Carolyn Collins of Columbia, SC and Diane (Harry) Peart of Rock Hill, SC; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. West’s name to Agape Care, 1069 Bayshore Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
