Rock Hill, SC – Ernest Rogerdell Toney, 79, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Born and raised in Rock Hill, he was the cherished son of the late Palmer and Maudie Deese Toney. Ernest was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynda Toney, as well as his brother, Michael, and sister, Bobbie.
Ernest adored his impressive collection of Corvettes and enjoyed the great outdoors. His greatest love, however, was his family.
Ernest is survived by his son, John Roger Dale (Sandy); his daughter, Toni Lynn Caudle (Hank); and his siblings, William, Clara (Becky) Lilly, Mary (Pat) Toney, and Kathy Nelson. He will be lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren, Michael and Camron.
Burial will be private.
