Gastonia, NC – Eva Jane Warner Robinson, 86, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 at her residence.
Eva was born in Charleston, WV, and was the daughter of the late Francis Marion Warner and the late Goldie Moles Warner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Lewis Robinson, son, Michael Dale Robinson, daughter, Karen Sue Freeman, brother, James Warner, and sisters, Merle Huffman, Mary Mace, Virginia McClung and Sue Marske. Eva retired from INA Bearing in Fort Mill, SC. She was an avid bowler and served as league secretary in Rock Hill for more than 45 years. She also maintained membership with the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
Services for Eva will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Reverend Greg Means officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Eva is survived by her son, Shawn Robinson of Monroe, NC; her daughter, Kathy Carswell of Gastonia, NC; her sister, Christine Cooper of Circleville, Ohio; her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren,
