Rock Hill, SC – Evonne Costner Walters, 60, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at her home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Ignite Church of Rock Hill, 1105 Eden Terrace, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend John Monteith officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 South Cherry Road, Rock Hill following the service. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm on Sunday prior to the service at the church.
Born in Rock Hill, Ms. Walters was the daughter of the late Thomas F Costner and the late Dorothy Morris Costner. She was a graduate of Winthrop University with a Master’s Degree in Finance. She was an accomplished pianist who played for many churches. She was a member of Ignite Church of Rock Hill.
Ms. Walters is survived by two sons, Brandon Walters and Joshua Walters both of Fort Mill, SC; her sister, Carol Pittman of York, SC; many nephews and nieces.
