Rock Hill, SC – Fay Ann Ayers Pittman, 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. Pittman was the daughter of the late John Lawrence Ayers and the late Carrie Byerly Ayers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ira L Pittman, Sr.; her five brothers, GW, John, Bobby, Billy, Pete; and her six sisters, Betty, Kathleen, Ruby, Ruth, Racheal, Lucianne. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by her three sons, Ira Lewis Pittman, Jr., James Lawrence Pittman, Edward Lee (Brooke) Pittman all of Rock Hill; her two daughters, Rebecca P (Les) Herring and Karen Denise (Douglas) Teel both of Rock Hill; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
All services will be private.
