Rock Hill, SC – Glenda M. Schusterman, 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Chandler Place Assisted Living & Memory Care.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Glenda was the daughter of the late Abraham and Yetta Shaffir. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Schusterman, and her brother, Melvyn Shaffir.
Glenda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother throughout her life. She previously was a professor of sociology at Adelphi University and subsequently co-founded an advertising business in New York.
Surviving are her son, Stephen Schusterman; daughter, Allison Schusterman; four granddaughters, Morgan Schusterman, Sydney Schusterman, Samantha Schusterman, and Alana Schusterman; and two grandsons, Adam Schusterman and Joshua Schusterman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Glenda’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
