A man of great faith who was a friend to all, Glenn McCall passed away suddenly on July 11, 2025.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Central Church, 5301 Sardis Road, Charlotte NC 28207. Glenn loved his church where he regularly shared his faith and served as a Facilitator for over a decade.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 27 years, Linda McCall, two sons, one daughter, one granddaughter, and two sisters.

Glenn was a graduate of Amberton University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, and he held a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Glenn served for 24 years, 10 years on active duty and 14 years in the Texas Air National Guard. Always community minded, he was a proud resident of Rock Hill who contributed his time and expertise to numerous groups. Before retirement, Glenn had built a distinguished career at Bank of America where he rose to the level of senior vice president, leading the consumer customer behavior analysis group.

Glenn loved his country. He represented the South Carolina Republican Party as the National Committeeman since 2008 and played a key role nationally where he served as Chairman of the RNC Budget Committee and Co-Chair of the 2020 Republican National Committee.

Glenn joined the Winthrop University Board of Trustees in 2011 and was serving as Chairman at the time of his death.

But more than anything, Glenn was a kind, caring, selfless, humble man, an advisor whose wisdom was cherished, and a source of moral clarity, who was always steadfast in doing what was right.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one of Glenn’s favorite charities–Voice of the Martyr (VOM), International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ), and Samaritan’s Purse—or to the Glenn McCall Endowed Scholarship Fund, Winthrop University Foundation, 2020 Alumni Drive, Stewart House, Rock Hill, SC 29733. Online donations to the scholarship fund may be made at www.winthrop.edu/give, indicating your donation to the Glenn McCall Scholarship in the comment box.
