Catawba, SC – Grace Thomas Forbis, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at MUSC Health in Lancaster, SC.
Grace was born on February 17, 1938, to the late Floyd Columbus Thomas and Violet Catherine Turner Thomas, in York County, SC. She was a graduate of Lewisville High School in 1957 and was a current resident at Helms Gordon Residential Assisted Living.
She is survived her brother, Harvey Jermone Thomas; five nieces, three nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Grace is preceded in death by her late parents; her brother, Floyd Eugene Thomas; and her sister, Nancy Viola Thomas Locke.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Union ARP Church Cemetery, 3594 Lancaster Hwy, Richburg, SC 29729.
