Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Harold Mitchel (Mitch) Shelton, 62, passed away on February 29, 2024. He was a beloved husband and devoted father. Mitch was born on March 17, 1961 to Harold B. and Roberta Shelton in Rock Hill, SC. Mitch was a machinist for 25 years. He was an avid reader and a great cook. Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Roberta Shelton.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Pastor Eddie Williams, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 2:00-2:45 pm at the funeral home.
Mitch is survived by his wife, Kelly Shelton; his son, Ryan Shelton; his brother, Charles Shelton (Carole) of Tampa Bay, FL; his aunt, uncles, numerous nephews and many beloved cousins. Mitch is also survived by his fur baby, Athena.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Shelton’s name to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
