Harry Howell Williams III, 71, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
A service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at Woodland United Methodist Church, 802 Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. There will be a visitation reception following the service at Woodland where the family will receive friends.
Harry was born on August 11, 1955, the youngest child of Harry and Laura. As a lifelong resident of Rock Hill, SC, Harry grew up going to St. John’s United Methodist Church, graduated from Northwestern High School in 1973, and completed a degree at York Technical College. He raised his family at Woodland United Methodist Church, where he coached basketball and was an elementary Sunday School teacher for many years. Those that knew Harry knew he loved music, his beloved dogs, spending time at the “river,” and rooting for his Clemson Tigers. Surviving Harry are his children Rebecca and Matt, Howell and Chris, Thelma and Jacob, and Drennan and Kennan; his two granddaughters; our mom Judy; his sisters Jessie Little and Salley Williams and their families.
