Smyrna, SC – Harvey L. Outlaw, 79, passed away on August 3, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1946, in Darlington, SC, to the late Carl Thomas Outlaw and the late Mary Elizabeth Hawkins Outlaw.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jody Outlaw, and his seven siblings: Leonard, Richard, Joe, Jenny Mae, Faye, Margie, and Francis.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Outlaw; his children, Justin Outlaw (Mallory), Toni Martin (Jerry), Tenara Brooks, and Erica Meade; his daughter-in-law, Tracy Outlaw; 15 grandchildren—Alexander, Benjamin, Madison, Gavin, Rose, Olive, Justin, Dalton, Savannah, Skylar, Noah, Savanna, Cole, Amelia, Jerry Jr. (Laura), Jessica (Timothy), Stephanie (Nicholas); and one great-grandchild, Stella.
Harvey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. A jack of all trades, he primarily worked in welding. He loved bass fishing, golfing, and watching NASCAR and the Washington Redskins. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM.
