Rock Hill, SC – Henry Orion Nichols, Jr., 89, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at his home.
Mr. Nichols was born in Chester, SC, and was the son of the late Henry Orion Nichols, Sr. and the late Lerline Copeland Nichols. He was retired from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing with 41 years of service. He was a member of Bethel United Medthodist Church, Chester, SC.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens, 700 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Pastor Jack Kindle officiating..
Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty L. Moore Nichols; two daughters, Bonte (Mike) Fugatt of Maidens, VA and Helen (John) N. Huskins of York, SC, two brothers, Sam (Katherine) Nichols of Florence, SC, and Marvin Nichols of Matthews, NC; two sisters, Joyce (Lee) Gardner of Chester, SC, and Carolyn N. Caldwell of Rock Hill, SC; three grandchildren, Zachary (Bernice) Huskins, Joshua (Ruksaar) Smith and Adam (Jessica) Huskins; two great-grandchildren, Hayes Huskins and Lucy Palmer Huskins; .
