Fort Mill, SC – Horace “Jerry” Johnson, age 85, peacefully went to be with our Lord on April 14, 2026. God saw he was tired and said to him, “Come with me”. Knowing he had been suffering, his family surrounded him and gave him a loving goodbye as he entered his forever home. Jerry boldly accepted Jesus Christ before he passed, bringing his loved ones peace as they grieve their loss.
Jerry was a loving husband, father to 3 children, and grandfather to many. He loved his family and friends fully.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Dianne; 2 children, Bonnie and Jill; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Johnson and Jessie Moody Johnson, his son, Jay, his granddaughter, Rachel, and 3 sisters.

I took His hand when I heard His call.
