Rock Hill, SC – Mr. James Ernest “Ernie” Warren, 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday following the service at the church.
Born in Danville, VA, Mr. Warren was the son of the late Rupert Wayne Warren and the late Nellie Bell Carter. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy Lee Warren, and Wayne Rupert Warren, Jr.
Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Devinney Warren; son, Christopher Andrew Warren of Rock Hill; two stepsons, William Brandon Troublefield of Pineville, NC and Brent Thomas Troublefield of Rock Hill; his daughter, Caren Warren Allen of Fort Mill, SC; two grandsons, Harrison Laney Allen of Charleston, SC, and Andrew McIntosh Warren of Rock Hill; granddaughter, Ava Bentley Allen of Fort Mill, SC; step-granddaughter, Ansley Troublefield of Rock Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. James E. Warren’s name to Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
