Rock Hill, SC – Mr. James Everett Lambert, 41, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 following a short, but courageous second battle with cancer.
Born in Lake Wales, FL, James was the son of Michael Lee Lambert, Sr. (Lori) of Cameron, SC and Debra Kay Layer Sears of Portsmouth, VA.
In addition to his parents, James is survived by his loving wife of twelve years, Nicole Yvonne Smith Lambert; his daughters, Alena Raine Lambert and Olivia Michelle Lambert; son, Elijah James Lambert; his brother, Michael Lambert, Jr. (Linda) of Rock Hill, SC; his in-laws Robert and Michelle Shaw of Catawba, SC, and Buddy and Mary Smith of Mauldin, SC; sisters-in-law, Lynn Hammond of Rock Hill, SC, Brandi Brown (Adam) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Sonya Haddon (Travis) of Simpsonville, SC; stepbrother, David Worswick, NC; and stepsisters, Amy Fruth, SC and Amber Casey, NC; and his nieces and nephews.
James was employed with New Indy Containerboard, formerly Bowater Inc. as an IT System Administrator for over fifteen years where he forged many treasured friendships. In addition to traveling with his family, James was an avid bowler and an internationally certified black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Most importantly, James loved being able to help people in their time of need.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
