Rock Hill, SC – Mr. James Stanley Worthy, Jr., 49, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at MUSC Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina.
Mr. Worthy was born in Rock Hill, SC, and the son of James “Jimmy” (Vicky) S. Worthy of Rock Hill and Margaret Wright Williams of Rock Hill. Mr. Worthy was preceded in death by his step-father, Donnie Williams. He enjoyed fishing, SC Gamecock football, and family.
Services for Mr. Worthy will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with the Reverend Jerry Devinney, officiating. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends Thursday (1/23/25) from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
In addition his parents, Mr. Worthy is survived by his six brothers, Bryan (Aly) Williams of Chester, SC, Ryan (Jamie) Williams of Rock Hill, SC, Jared Worthy of Rock Hill, SC, Dale (Michelle) Williams of Fort Lawn, SC, Anthony (Teresa) Williams of Chester, SC, Donnie (Elizabeth) Levister of Winnsboro, SC; his three daughters, Amber (Kyle) Puckett of Greer, SC, Tori Worthy of York, SC, Cassie Worthy of Woodruff, SC; and his three grandchildren..
