Mrs. Jane Carroll Johnson, of Rock Hill, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. Born on September 2, 1945 to Mamie Blue Adams and Roddy Benjamin Adams, Jane was the fifth of seven children.
Jane was a long term employee of Smiths Enterprises and a proud member of the Catawba Indian Nation , but her greatest accomplishment was her family that she loved deeply. She was married to William (Bill) H. Johnson Jr. on January 1, 1965.
Jane is survived by her husband, Bill, their four children, Cynthia Melton, Michele Barrier, Paula Dellinger and Marty Johnson; 13 grand children, and 22 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Dewey Adams, Bob Adams and Judd Adams, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, 3 of her siblings, Josephine Hunter, Clarence Adams, Frank Adams, and her granddaughter, Emersyn Johnson.
Jane’s memory will live on through those she loved, with deep appreciation for her lifelong service as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She is now at rest in the arms of her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration Of Life memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends prior from 10:00am-10:45am. A private inurnment will follow with family only.
