Jason Robert Pack, deeply loved father, partner, brother, son, and friend, passed away far too soon on November 23, 2025 at the age of 43. A native of South Carolina, after high school he briefly studied music at Winthrop. Enlisting in the Army at the age of 20, he traveled the world serving his country in the United States Army as a bandsman. He built a family, made deep friendships, and perfected numerous recipes that we were all lucky to try.
After his Army service, he continued his commitment to music and the military by joining the SC National Guard band where he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He is survived by Chalica, the mother of their children, Emma (19), Jackson (17), and Isaiah (12); parents, Haskel and Cathy Pack; a sister, Michelle Pack, and a brother, Scott Pack.
Jason was not just special—he was the person you called first, the one who showed up, the one whose absence will be felt in a hundred quiet, ordinary moments.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 2:00pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service.
