Rock Hill, SC – Jean B. Knight, 88, passed away on September 2, 2026, at her home.
Jean was born on July 25, 1938, in York, SC, to the late Lester J. Boheler and Norma Farris Boheler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Boheler and Lester “Sonny” Boheler Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheryl McConnell and Debi Russell; sister, Carol Cash; grandchildren, Chris McConnell (Kim), Lara McConnell, and Taylor George; great-granddaughter, Aubre McConnell; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jean loved dancing and flowers and planted a garden every year when she was able. She enjoyed taking vacations with her family, often traveling several times a year. She especially loved trips to the beach and the mountains. Jean also enjoyed reading, watching cowboy and crime movies, and was a huge Elvis Presley fan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The funeral service will begin at 1:15 p.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park – Hollis Lakes, 387 Hollis Lakes Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
