Jeannie Suzanne Blackmon (“Suzanne”) was a caring mother, daughter, sister, fiancé, and friend. She left this world suddenly on June 2, 2023 at the age of 59.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
She was born to Otis and Patricia Register on November 21, 1963. Suzanne’s little sister Leanne would be her partner in crime throughout childhood, making for some wonderful, silly stories of the 2. After graduating from high school, Suzanne would attend Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina. There, she began a family of her own and would have 2 beautiful children, Davis and Jackson. Her children were her heart, and she would raise them with a gentle touch, free spirit, and unwavering love.
Suzanne loved spending time crafting; creating things to make others smile. Her home is decorated floor to ceiling with funny signs and pictures; most of which she made herself. Suzanne was a rockstar – she loved jamming to music and listening to her fiancé’s band play. Her favorite thing of all however was to spend time with her kids – going to her son Jackson’s races, or taking her daughter Davis on a trail ride. She was a supportive mother, a generous friend, and a kind soul. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
