Richburg, SC – Miss Jessie Yvonne Purser, 13, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church, 5403 Harmony Church Road/State Road 51, Edgemoor, SC 29712 with Reverend Steve Welch officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
Born in Pineville, NC, Miss. Purser was the daughter of Joshua Daniel Orr and Kathleen Murray. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Rockin’ Roger Purser, maternal grandfather, Edward Murray, and maternal grandmother, Kathleen W. Murray. Miss Purser was a rising 8th grader at Lewisville Middle School.
Miss Purser is survived in addition to her parents by her brother, Rodger (Zoe Earnheart) Purser, Sr. of Richburg; her sister, Ryleigh (Darrell Totherow) Purser of Richburg; paternal grandmother, Donna Hill-Bessett (William) of Monroe, NC; two nephews, Joshua Totherow, and Rodger Dylan Purser, Jr.
